As soon as it’s finished, somewhere in the 1,776-foot-tall One World Trade Center will be a beam signed by President Barack Obama.
It reads: “We remember. We rebuild. We come back stronger!”
The beam is also signed by First Lady Michelle Obama, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
At 1,368 feet today, the building already stands as tall as the original World Trade Center towers.
But, of course, we’re not stopping there.
Upon completion, One World Trade Center will be the tallest building in the western hemisphere.
