Yup. You read that headline correctly.

A fight broke out between Fox News Contributor and Pulitzer Prize-Winning Columnist Charles Krauthammer and White House Communications Director Dan Pfieffer over whether or not a bust of Winston Churchill, bestowed upon the White House during the Bush presidency, was returned once Barack Obama took office.

And, we’re not talking a few seconds of snark on a news program here. We’re talking multiple published articles back and forth.

The fight went a lil’ somethin’ like this: Krauthammer wrote an opinion article mentioning that Obama had sent the bust back to the Brits when he first took office. Pfeiffer shot back that that wasn’t true, and provided photo evidence to support his claim. BUT, it turns out that photo was of a DIFFERENT Churchill bust. The bust in question is now at the British Embassy.

So, Krauthammer demanded an apology ... and Pfeiffer agreed!

Boys, boys! Can't we all just acknowledge the fact that this was pointless?
