Joe Biden was hanging out in North Carolina this week to give a speech about jobs.

So, he decided to stop by local frozen custard shop, Wolfies, (in Winston-Salem) to get a vanilla and dark chocolate combo.

While he was there, he treated some kids (see pics) to some custard as well.

As adorable as this sounds, we enjoyed hearing what happened next even more. Joe sat down next to Tae J. Kim, a businessman who moved to the area from Korea 20 years ago and decided to tell Joe that he had become a USA citizen a few months ago.

Joe's response?

"Thank you for choosing us."

DiD yOu KnOw? ... It's well-known that Joe Biden loves Delaware, where he was raised and eventually became a senator. However, Joe was actually born in Scranton, Pa., a town you may recognize from the hilarious sitcom "The Office." We can only imagine what it would be like if Joe ran Dunder-Mifflin.
