Well, this is all sorts of awesome.
It seems that on Friday, Tyler Sullivan, a fifth grader from Rochester, Minn., was playing hooky from school. It's all good though, he got a note ... from President Obama.
You see, Tyler's dad, Ryan, who's a veteran, was introducing POTUS for a speech at the Honeywell facility where he works and, of course, Tyler tagged along to meet the President. That's when he asked POTUS to write a note explaining where he was to his teacher. So, Obama pulled out a pen and some paper with the Presidential seal on it and wrote: "Mr. Ackerman, please excuse Tyler. He was with me!"
