One of the perks of being the First Lady of the United States is that you get gifts from all over the world -- but, we're sure Michelle Obama wasn't quite expecting this one.
An Italian province has decided to dedicate a 1,400-year-old olive tree to the First Lady.
Our favorite part of this story? The tree is an ancient breed known as "The Queen."
According to Lecce, the province in question, their decision was based on Michelle's efforts to battle obesity. According to them, Michelle's recommendations for healthier eating fall in line with what is known as the "Mediterranean diet," which, in a large part, relies on olive oil.
