First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden hosted the White House’s traditional Mother’s Day afternoon tea Sunday, but this year's guests of honor don't usually spend their days in sundresses ... they spend them in military fatigues.
Michelle and Jill dedicated this year’s celebration to the mothers in uniform, their own mothers and their children -- and, the cuteness factor is off the charts on this one because there’s nothing better than a heartwarming family reunion.
“Dear Mom, you are the best I could ever have,” one boy wrote on his Mother’s Day card.

In addition to tea and coffee, military families dined on tuna tartare, cucumber sandwiches, shaved-ham biscuits, coconut cake, blueberry scones and fruit tarts.
