What do London and Staten Island have in common?
Nothing, yet.
But, the New York City borough is planning on building its own taller version of the ">London Eye to suck in some of the tourists from the mainland. The 625-foot-tall Ferris wheel will carry 1,440 passengers at a time and cost $230 million to build.
And the residents also hope the wheel’s presence in 2015 will change the perspective outsiders have on them, largely thanks to local celebrities like Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.
Seriously?!
We’ve always considered those two the thinking men of the reality entertainment world.
