Boston’s trendy Newbury Street is adding one of Washington, DC’s most famous establishments to its lineup on June 16: Georgetown Cupcake.
Founders and sisters Katherine Kallinis and Sophie LaMontagne have locations in Bethesda, Md., and SoHo (NYC) as well as a hit reality show on TLC (the main reason all the tourists in that infernal line have to take pictures in the storefront).
The ladies will also be opening an LA store in Beverly Hills this fall. Might we suggest a few new secret flavors for the new clientele? Boston patrons might like a Jameson Julep, or maybe the girls could team up with legendary sandwich spot Sam La Grassa’s for some sort of corned beef concoction.
