We love our smartphones. It's probably our favorite thing about living in the future.
Forget talking dogs and flying cars, having an iPhone is way better than anything "The Jetsons" could have predicted. But now, it looks like even that has a fault.
It's called "smartphone face" and it's a very real problem that plastic surgeons and beauty experts are noticing more and more. It seems that all that looking down to tweet or read a text causes your face to elongate and jowls to sag.
If you're a sufferer, the general "cure" for the cosmetic problem, like most others, is plastic surgery. In this case, chin implants -- the rising popularity of which is cited as proof of sagging face trend -- are the way to go. Other options include facelifts, Botox and chin-sculpting filler injections.
Preventive-wise, just remember to raise your iPhone up to eye level to read the screen.
Ugh. This is the last thing we need to hear. Thanks a lot, future.
