When we heard that Eve would be stopping by the M·A·C Cosmetics store in Chevy Chase, Md., to commemorate a $250 million milestone for the M·A·C AIDS Fund ... you know we had to be there!

The singer, record producer and former M·A·C Viva Glam spokesperson was joined by M·A·C's fabulous "Shops At Wisconsin Place" store team; John Demsey, chairman of the M·A·C AIDS Fund and group president of Estée Lauder; and Nancy Mahon, executive director of the M·A·C AIDS Fund.

quote-eve-2012-07-21-2 They told us all about the company's incredible Viva Glam project -- which helps to fund the AIDS initiative by donating every cent from the sale of its products toward helping victims of acquired immune deficiency syndrome -- as they celebrated raising $250 million dollars through the initiative.

So, how can we all help this great cause?

"All you have to do to get involved is spend $14.50 (on a stick of 'Viva Glam' lipstick) and 100% of that goes toward helping men, women and children living with, and affected by, AIDS," Eve said. "It's as simple as that."

As you can probably imagine, the Grammy Award-winning star is also a wealth of information when it comes to beauty and makeup. So, we also asked her what product she thought would be best on Michelle Obama.

"Definitely Viva Glam VI. It would be a great color on Mrs. Obama," she said. "But, also, it's for a good cause!"

After the event, Eve, John and Nancy hit up the amfAR Gala, which was the precursor to the International AIDS Conference in our Nation's Capital.

Kudos to M·A·C for all of the work it does to help others. To learn more about the M·A·C AIDS Fund, visit it online: www.macaidsfund.org!
