Miley Cyrus has notoriously been getting tatted up since she was 17 -- and, while we've had our doubts about some of her decisions, her latest piece of ink definitely gets the Glittarazzi stamp of approval.
Miley chose to get a quote tattooed on her arm.
Specifically, it's a quote from a speech made my President Theodore Roosevelt, which says: "So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat."
The famous quote is part of a much longer piece where Roosevelt explained that critics aren't the people who matter. The people who matter, according to the former president, are the ones willing to be daring and take chances, whether they are victorious or fail at their attempts.
All boiled down, we're pretty sure this is a big "Eff You!" to all of Miley's haters.
Love it, girl!
DiD yOu KnOw? ... Miley's tattoo repertoire includes a dream catcher on her side; "Just Breathe" on her ribcage (in honor of a friend with cystic fibrosis); "Love Never Dies" on her bicep; and an equal sign (to support gay marriage) on her ring finger.
