Cedric the Entertainer and Niecy Nash popped into Washington, D.C., today to promote their new TV Land sitcom.
In "The Soul Man," which premieres this week, Cedric plays the Rev. Boyce "The Voice" Ballentine -- a former R&B singer (and ladies man) with hits like "Sex Wichoo." But, in the show, he's given up his player ways to take preach at St. Louis Church.
Niecy Nash ("Reno 911") stars as the reverends wife, Lolli, and the show is from the creators of "Hot in Cleveland."
Sounds like a blast! We can't wait to watch!
