Celebrities are uniting in Los Angeles to get people to adopt the animals in shelters so they don't have to be put down.
No-Kill Los Angeles (NKLA) is a coalition that includes organizations like the Found Animals Foundation, Stray Cat Alliance, Karma Rescue, and more. As part of its efforts to encourage adoption, the group is offering spay/neuter projects for people who can't afford to get their pets fixed.
Celebrities -- such as "True Blood" Star Kristin Bauer van Straten, Alyssa Milano, Moby and Lisa Edelstein -- have joined the cause and attended an event this week, which was hosted by the Best Friends Animal Society and Let There Be Dragons.
Definitely check out NKLA's latest campaign video, starring SNL's Kevin Nealon (below) and head on over to the NKLA website (here) to learn more about who they are and what they do!
