Pat Robertson is not funny.

The televangelist and media mogul made a fairly distasteful joke on the 700 Club's "Bring it On" segment, during which a viewer sent in a question about what to do with his unruly, disrespectful wife.

"Well, you could become a Muslim and you could beat her," he first responds.

Though it's clear that it's supposed to be a joke, Pat goes on to say that he doesn't think that "we condone wife-beating these days, but something's got to be done."

Pat has previously said that liberals are pro-abortion because it would even the playing field for straight women and lesbians (we're still having a hard time understanding that one), and, even further back, has said that the feminist agenda is all about getting women to turn lesbian and "practice witchcraft."

Oh, Pat. 

DiD yOu KnOw? ... Pat Robertson famously predicted that judgment day would happen in 1982 and, last year, he was the recipient of the "Ig Nobel" prize in mathematics for teaching people not to use flawed math to predict the apocalypse. LOL!
