Well, this is embarrassing.
In an effort to reach out to Latino Americans, the fast-growing ethnic group in the country, the Republican National Committee launched a bilingual Spanish-English website, RNCLatinos.com, in October.
But, this week, someone noticed that the site used a stock photo of Asian children on its main landing page.
According to an RNC spokesperson, the site was developed and maintained by an outside vender and the pic was pulled as soon as they started getting calls about it from reporters. Of course, the whole mix up of racial identities reminded many of the infamous incident when Republican Senator Sharon Angle told a group of Hispanic children that they "looked Asian."
Currently, President Obama has a massive 40-point lead in the polls over Mitt Romney with Latino voters.
We're pretty sure this incident does nothing to help Mitt.
