The former president’s head popped up in the unlikeliest of places -- on a spike -- in a scene during the bloody political drama’s first season, where bratty teen king, Joffrey (Jack Gleeson), takes his bride-to-be, Sansa (Sophie Turner), to show her his father’s place of honor after he had him beheaded.
The series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss pointed it out in their DVD commentary, noting that it wasn’t the only scene they used George’s prop.
"It's not a choice. It's not a political statement. It's just ... we had to use what heads we had lying around."
No respect, no respect.
