Allow us to introduce Valérie Trierweiler.

She's a pretty prominent French journalista, who's always on Twitter. (We like her already!)

Oh, and she's also recently elected French President Francois Hollande's lover (we'd say girlfriend, but it's France, so ...). It's not really a big deal because Francois isn't married -- but, what is a big deal is Valérie's recent flare up on Twitter.

Here's what happened: Valérie tweeted her support for a candidate in an upcoming rural election, whose opponent is supported by Francois and who just happens to be his ex-lover of 30 years (Ségolène Royal). Oh, and Francois and Ségolène even have kids together, though they never married. (Like we said before: it's France).

It's no secret that Ségolène and Valérie don't get along, but this little social media incident just kind of puts it all out there, in a somewhat subtle way.
