Things are getting kind of interesting down in Florida.

You see, this month is the start of the corruption trial of Jim Greer, the former chairman of the state's Republican Party. Jim is accused of helping himself to the party's money, but he says he was just getting paid for his fundraising services and that then Governor Charlie Crist approved of it.

But, Charlie says that isn't true. In response, Jim and his lawyer have made certain allegations about Charlie in the build up to the trial.

According to Jim:

• Charlie had homosexual relationships with at least two men that he then paid to leave the state.
• Charlie has a drinking problem and had to have this security detail cover up several "drunken escapades" including an incident where a drunk Charlie tried to run people over with a golf cart
• Charlie tried to kiss Jim one night while the two were staying at a hotel in Beverly Hills.

Of course, the whole "Charlie Crist is secretly gay" rumor isn't exactly new. If you've ever seen the documentary "Outrage", which claims to "out" closeted gay politicians who support anti-gay-rights legislation, you know what we're talking about.

Our favorite part is that Charlie's attorney responded to the allegations by saying that if the former governor was gay he'd be a "sick s.o.b. to try to kiss Porky the Pig." ("Porky Pig" meaning Jim, who's a bit on the heavy side).
