As much as we adore Katie Couric, she's not necessarily someone we would think of as having a kick-butt sense of swag -- until last weekend.

Katie gave the commencement speech at the University of Virginia's commencement ceremony and one of her quotes was, well, pretty ballsy.

"Some said I lacked 'gravitas,' which I've since decided is Latin for 'testicles,'" she said while explaining some of the criticism she's received throughout her admirable career as a woman in journalism.

Way to give a memorable speech, Katie! We're glad so many young people -- especially young women -- have you to look up to. 

(And we have to say -- we definitely think you've got balls!)
