Everyone's favorite former POTUS candidate's daughter (who blogs) is back.

That's right, sound the Meghan McCain alarm -- and get to your battle stations. We've got a live one!

First, we're going to need a little backstory on the situation:

In March, Fox News Anchor Greta Van Susteren announced that she was boycotting this year's White House Correspondents Dinner, because Comedian Louis CK was initially scheduled to host. Louis is one of the hottest comedians around right now, but he's extremely R-rated and Greta finds his humor about women, and the some comments on Sarah Palin, offensive. (She called him a pig). The ensuing pressure caused Louis to quit as host and hand the gig over to Jimmy Kimmel.

And then, when Greta announced that she was bringing Lindsay Lohan to the dinner, Meghan reacted by tweeting, "Let me get this straight Greta Van Susteren is bringing Lindsay Lohan to the WHC Dinner but has a moral offense to Louie C.K?

When asked about Meghan's disapproval, she fired back: "I wasn't bothered by it because I am sure they do not know what Louis C.K. really said."

(We were hoping a more vitriolic answer to fuel this feud a little longer. Sigh.)

How awesome would it have been to have Meghan as the First Daughter?
