We've finally reached that point in the presidential election that everyone loves: the debates.

And, if you're left unsatisfied by any of the official questions from of the first potential POTUS matchup, we the people have the opportunity to pose our own questions during the town hall debate on Oct. 16.

Well, we the people ... and the pizza chain.

It seems that Pizza Hut's latest marketing scheme is to try and crash the town hall debate.

On Tuesday, the pizza franchise announced a reward of pizza for life to any member of the audience of the political discussion taking place next week at New York's Hofstra University, who actually stands up in front of the entire country and asks both candidates which topping they prefer on their pizza -- either pepperoni or sausage? What would you expect from the company that came up with this and this?

We're honestly torn over this political pizza ploy. On one hand, it's a crass commercial takeover of an important political discussion on the future of America.

On the other hand, it's free pizza for life!
