We're not sure if you know this, but President Obama is a bit of basketball fan.
He's been known to play games with staffers, fill out brackets for March Madness, and sit courtside at plenty of games.
What you may not know is that POTUS is such a huge basketball fan that he's made friends with some of the biggest names in the sport, and, sometimes, they like to help out with his fundraising.
The latest effort by some of his famous baller friends includes Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Sheryl Swoopes and Carmelo Anthony -- and will take place later this month in New York with the Obama Classic 2012.
How can you get in on the Obama Classic 2012? Well...
- A $3 minimum donation gets you entered into a drawing to win.
- A donation of $250 guarantees you can attend an autograph session with the players.
- For $5,000, you and another person gain admission to a "shoot-around skills session with the players."
- Fork over $20,000 and you can go to dinner with POTUS and the players.
The event was originally scheduled for December, in the midst of the NBA lockout, but was postponed when players and owners settled their differences and started up the season. It was also originally supposed to be a full exhibition game.
Better late than never, though ... especially when it comes to fundraising.
