Poll: Most Americans Are ‘Meh’ About The 2012 Presidential Election

bored american 2012 6 21

Oh, it's another election story about polling?

Let us guess, Obama's now up in the polls? No! Romney's up!? Uh, Ron Paul?

Ha ha! Actually, it seems that the most recent poll found that only 37% of Americans are following the election closely.

According to the May/June Rasmussen survey, the breakdown goes like this: most people are waiting till after Labor Day (a.k.a. the end of summer) to really start following what's going on with the candidates, mainly because everything in the election news cycle has been boring. And, the ones that are currently following are most likely to be Republicans and senior citizens.

Come on, people! It's an en election year. Get excited!
