Here’s a fun fact: Bill Clinton isn’t on Twitter.

All we've been able to find is this -- a private account with only three tweets, which strikes us as abandoned attempt at social media.

So, you can imagine our excitement when a new Twitter account, which is supposedly by Bill Clinton, started sending out tweets earlier this week. But then we started actually reading what @Bill_Clinton12 was tweeting and got confused.

He heaped praise on Mitt Romney, linked to articles featuring Bill disagreeing with President Obama's policies, and out-right criticized POTUS. Then, we found out that the account is allegedly a parody run by Mitt's campaign.

The whole fake-Twitter-account-by-a-high-ranking-Dem thing is actually a pretty standard tactic. Mitt's people have also allegedly created accounts for Joe Biden and Debbie Wasserman Schultz. And, if the fake Twitter account for Bill is run similarly, then we can expect the feed to go dark soon.

Come on, guys. We were just getting into it!
